This past Saturday the crucible rang out with the sound of engines instead of bullets as the DestinyRaiders traded their weapons for sparrows to find out once and for all who was the fastest mother fudger!
It all began with qualifying -
The 10 participants where split into 2 groups, the noble Group A and the less orginal Group B. Group A consisted of Jhead13, Klaus718, isoromiC, JT & a late sub of ElScotcho. Group B consisted of AngelEyes, LastSunDance, MstrBubbles, DarthBrodie & Adkyth. Each group then took place in 4 races covering all the SRL maps, with points being awarded depending on the finishing places of each race. Group A was dominated by Jhead13, who won 2 of the 4 races to cries of a fix, luckily he was too far ahead to hear these cries! Klaus718 & Elscotcho both took a race each aswell even with Elscotcho having controler problems. Jt was sadly distracted by her new foghorn but her and our fearless leader Iso did themselves proud. Group B was simularly dominated y Adkyth who won 2 of his 4 races. DarthBrodie and Bubbles took a race each too, even if a tank had a hard on for MstrBubbles! Angeleyes did nothing to disprove the steriotype of “women driver” (that me sleeping on the couch) and LastSunDance was too busy changing his PSN username to LastSlowDance. After all 4 races were done the qualifying league looked like this -

The top 5 (DarthBrodie was 5th becuase he won more races than Iso) moved on the the CHAMPIONSHIP bracket and the bottom 5 moved on to the SUNDAY DRIVER bracket.
The Sunday Driver Bracket -
3 races on 3 maps decided the Sunday Driver bracket and the late sub to the GrandPrix managed to take home the medal! ElScotcho won the first and the last map to claim the victory in what was a tight and well contested races. Angel was Miss Consistent finishing 2nd in each race where as SunDance silenced his critics when he won race 2. Iso and JT kept trading paint at the back of the field whilst pressing the holy crap out of their fog horn buttons! Huge congrats to the SUNDAY DRIVER champion - ElScotcho

The Championship Bracket -
The championship bracket was so viciously fought over the guardians have more burns on their elbows and knees than a guest at a swingers party! Jhead continued where he left off by winning the 1st race, however Adkyth then pulled it out the bag in race 2. Brodie, Bubbles and Klaus all put in a great effort but sadly found pace lacking but their verbal abuse for the 2 leaders was on point! Many a crash was wished for! Adkyth then pulled of a huge win in the 3rd and final face to force a playoff race between himself and Jhead.

Jhead vs Adkyth
The race was epic, back and forth, a real race for the ages! The full race can be found on Jheads Youtube channel and is a must watch. It looked like Jhead had the medal in his sights on the last lap then a nudge from adkyth and his skilled racing got him into the lead. No matter how much he tried, Jhead just couldnt catch him, Adkyth crossed the line first and was crowned the CHAMPIONSHIP champion!
